CDT in Sustainable Chemical Technologies MRes Project Student (PG)
Abboy graduated from Jadavpur University in 2023 with a Master’s in Chemistry. As part of his degree, he completed a research project on copper-catalyzed thiocarbamate synthesis under the supervision of Dr. Amit Saha. After completing studies, he worked as an institute research fellow at BITS Pilani Goa campus working on sustainable synthesis via mechanochemistry under the supervision of Prof. Mainak Banerjee. Outside of the lab, Abboy loves going to the gym, playing video games, and guitar.
